At first you think you are dreaming when you see this logo...
You've seen that logo before, on some imported goods. Nah, can't be. Well actually you have, because, the original logo is supposed to look like this...
So, dear reader, what you see is an increasing trend of a useless, deadbeat, unoriginal franchise company "stealing" from the info printed on the sides of the expensive imported paint they sell, and creating a kief new logo, and they can laaik to hope nobody catches on. Unfortunately s0nic2k did notice, and noticed it for a while until he saw someone else do it aswell, who is also in the paint business. Knowing that this is a trademarked, protected logo, let's see what dear old Wikipedia has to say about the matter - Link
The Green Dot (German: Der Grüne Punkt) is the license symbol of a European network of industry-funded systems for recycling the packaging materials of consumer goods. The logo is trademark protected worldwide.
Trademarked worldwide eh? I think its time I informed the DSD in Germany about what's happening in darkest Africa!
Then, as mentioned, we have another bunch, also in the paint business, whose logo also recently changed to, dang, something so familliar to s0nic2k, who rarely even watches DSTV...
And here we have the original logo, from NBC.com, an American Television Network Corproration..
My conclusion
If you carn't laaik to create yorr own originel kief logos for your corner paint and hardwear shop, ag man, just take one you can laaik to see on DSTV or in da DSTV mag, and modifi it and Joshua Doore can laaik to be yor uncles. And don't worry, South Affricans are so stupid, zey won't notice you zaaifed the logo.
Some people in SA watch waaaay too much fucking TV, no wonder productivity is low in this country and domestic violence is a very pressing issue!
